Concrete Crane table
This piece is inspired by the shapes found in the pulley system of a crane, and the load held underneath. The crane pulley acts as a centerpiece, floating above the welded chains. The chains are all welded to create a floating illusion for the table top. The table top is created from furniture concrete, cast in a wooden mould, leaving wood grain visible in the concrete. Each “plank” is sealed at both ends with a “staple plate” made of aluminum.
Materials: Painted Steel, Polished Aluminum, Furniture-Grade Concrete, Concrete Sealer, Powder coated Chain.
