This piece is inspired by the forks and lifting mechanism found in a forklift. The pallet, made of oak, serves as the table top, and the forks support the weight of the table top. The toolbox hides the winch that allows the table to be set at any height. The geometrical design of the backboard serves as a decorative background. The whole idea of having a forklift in your living room adds a very humorous element to the piece.
